About Foolish Things

Our Mission

Foolish Things is a truth-centered Christian podcast and teaching ministry dedicated to encouraging bold faith in a confused world. Rooted in 1 Corinthians 1:27, we believe God chooses the foolish things of the world to shame the wise — using what is overlooked and considered weak to reveal His power and wisdom.

Our mission is to equip women of faith with Bible-centered devotionals, audio encouragement, and cultural commentary so they can stand firm in Christ, live courageously, and shine His light wherever they go.

Foolish Things is led by Darla Simone, a Christ-follower and messenger of God’s Word, whose passion is to decrease so that He may increase. While the name Darla Simone serves as a pen name and ministry brand, the heart behind it is real — a desire to lift up Jesus above all else.

Formerly known as [insert previous podcast name], this ministry has grown through seasons of change and rest, now returning with a renewed commitment to speak truth in love and build up believers for such a time as this.
